My Natural Acne Remedy

raw-fruit-saladIn my experience, there are no quick fixes for acne. Prescription drugs, topical solutions, injections, creams, and supplements didn't work for me . Even the things I have found that did work well, took time.  Many years ago, when I got tired of trying things that didn't work, I found my solutions in books on natural healing, books that are not approved of by the FDA. Neither has my opinion or any information on this site been approved by the FDA.  What did work for me was a diet of fresh fruits and vegetables combined with short,  medium, and long juice fasts.

Now, If all I simply told you was to eat plenty of fruit and vegetables and stop eating junk food, it probably wouldn't make much of an impression on you. It wouldn't penetrate your belief system. That is why it often helps to understand why or how something works. It helps us to understand what is possible. Even though it is a simple system, it deserves an entire book or two to explain the details. Such a book already and is called, Clear for Life. What I will cover in this short article, are a few principles that will steer you in the right direction and change the way you look at your diet.

I Discovered That Overeating and Wrong Eating Were The Primary Causes of My Acne

Certain foods (i.e., french fries, doughnuts, and pizza) clog our systems. They are difficult to digest and they take a long time to eliminate. What nutrients they do contain are negated by mucus and poison. This aging bed of mucus ferments, pus develops, bacteria grows, and glands & organs become compromised. In the case of acne, a system overrun by mucus and pus begins to eliminate the excess waste through the path of least resistance, the skin. Even the overeating of good clean foods can create an accumulation of waste that will eventually compromise the healthy functions of our glands and organs because they accumulate faster than the body can eliminate them.

It is easy to prove to yourself that soon after you stop consuming these mucus forming and poisonous foods, your acne condition will begin to retreat. A short 3 day experiment should be all the time you need to prove the truth behind this principle. During this time, limit yourself to fresh fruit for breakfast, salads for lunch, and steamed or baked veggies for dinner.  Eliminate all flour products, dairy products, sugars, grease, meats, coffee, teas, or soda. Drink lot of water and fruit juice. Chew your food until it is liquefied, allowing your saliva to begin the digestive process. Stop eating before you are full. Stop snacking before bed. Skip a meal or two to allow you body to play catch up.  Don't just take my word for it, do it!

How I Accelerated The Elimination of My Acne Through Fasting

The reason fasting works so well at eliminating acne and other disease is because the body no longer has to spend its resources on the process of digestion. Once the body's resources can be focused on the process of elimination, it can then more efficiently remove mucus, poisons, pus, and undigested food stuffs.

The waste travels from the body tissues, glands, and organs(i.e., skin), into the blood stream, and is filter through the liver and kidneys. If too much waste is dumped into the blood stream at one time, weakness, nausea, and dizziness may result. This is temporary. Once the waste leaves through the organs of elimination, you will experience renewed energy and will have reversed the feeding of your acne condition. You will have accelerated the healing process.

Those who have a medical condition(i.e., hypoglycemia, diabetes) or are in a weak or compromised condition, should consult a physician before fasting. Fasting temporarily increases the amount of mucus and poisons in the blood stream and may be too much for someone who already has a high level of toxicity or who can't go without eating at frequent intervals.

For us otherwise healthy individuals, try the no breakfast plan for three days for starters. This tactic allows you to extend the time you were sleeping and not eating for a few more hour. It gives your body a little mini vacation to play catch up on its elimination chores. This helps lessen the mucus and the pus which feed the acne. Its a simple reversal of what caused the condition if the first place.
